Admission is free and the room is located on the first floor of the Hall, sited appropriately next to the WW1 Memorial Room.

Why not come along to view displays, records and artefacts, not only from the Pals in The Great War, but from other conflicts?

Project staff Steve Williams and Nikki Davidson-Kerr will be on hand to answer questions and queries, and welcome people bringing along their photographs and memorabilia of Chorley soldiers over the years.

On display will be the list of Chorley men whose names will be engraved on the War Memorial in the Park later in the year.

There will also be photographs and plans of ROF Chorley from 1937 to 2007; little remains of the original buildings on the 928 acre site, which is now Buckshaw Village.
