Chorley Remembers Secretary Steve Williams (who is managing the War Memorial element of the project) was on-site today (Saturday) taking photographs as well as chatting to a few on-lookers, keen to know how things are progressing.
The blockwork wall to hold the Limestone Panels is taking shape, whilst the contractors managed to erect the two flagpoles that had arrived earlier than anticipated.
Five of the 13 panels being engraved with the names of the fallen have been completed and all should be ready for despatch to Chorley by the end of next week.
