Act of Remembrance at Chorley Pals Memorial
Everyone is welcome to join us at an Act of Remembrance to remember the Chorley Pals going over the top at the start of the Battle of the Somme at 7.30 a.m. on the 1st July 1916. The Last Post will be sounded, a minute's silence will be observed and wreaths will be laid. Note that car parking on the adjacent Flat Iron car park is free at that time of the morning.
